Gareth Southgate’s England take on Hansi Flick’s Germany tonight in what is their final UEFA Nations League Group A3 fixture. The Three Lions have been relegated from Group A following defeat to Italy on Friday night.

England fans have fond memories from the last time their country faced Germany at Wembley Stadium, having beat them 2-0 in the Round of 16 at Euro 2020 last summer. Things feel a little different this time around though as Southgate’s side are without a win in five games.

The feel good factor from the previous summer has warn off for now, but a victory over their old rivals will help to improve optimism ahead of the World Cup in November.

Germany are looking to secure their place in the Nations League finals next year with a victory, whilst also looking to restore bragging rights following that Euro 2020 defeat.

When is kick-off?

England vs Germany kick-off at 7:45pm on Monday, September 26 at Wembley Stadium. The last meeting between these two sides came in the reverse fixture back in June, when the Three Lions salvaged a 1-1 draw at the Allianz Arena.

How to watch

The match has been selected for live coverage and will be broadcasted on DSTV. Coverage begins at 7pm.
