Former Super Eagles Technical Adviser, Gernot Rohr, is demanding $1million compensation from the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) as he has reported the Glasshouse to FIFA over an alleged breach of contract.
The 68-year-old was sacked in December 2021, a few weeks before the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON). Before his sack, Rohr was the longest-serving Super Eagles manager, spending over five years on the job.

During his spell with the Super Eagles, Rohr won bronze at the 2019 AFCON, but was eventually sacked by the NFF.
Before his sack, there were always reports that the NFF owed Rohr salaries. But the Glasshouse stated that they would settle all contractual agreements with the former Burkina Faso boss.
But Rohr is not pleased with the NFF, as BBC Sports reports that he demands additional $1million compensation.
In an interview with the BBC, Rohr affirmed that he is waiting for the ruling of the FIFA tribunal.
“Now, this case is with FIFA, and they will decide,” Rohr said.
