Playing in the Uefa Champions League semi-final after sixteen years means a lot to Villarreal, the Spanish club has ensured loyal fans won’t have to pay big to witness history again.
Unai Emery’s Villarreal side were the talk of the football world this week after stunning Bayern Munich in the last-eight of the Champions League to set up a major showdown with Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool side in the final four.
Victory for Villarreal would see them playing in the biggest match in European football.

The Spanish side are undoubtedly underdogs for the two-legged semi-final with six-time winners Liverpool but will be hoping that their home supporters can make a difference during the decisive second leg at El Madrigal on May 3.
Villarreal will be looking to their loyal fanbase to create a cauldron of noise at home, and to do that they’ve generously put a large number of tickets up for sale for a bargain price.
Ticket rates for the huge European clash start at just €25, which equates to around £20.70.
While the average cost of watching football in Spain is generally cheaper than what it is in England, those thinking that fans on these shores will have their pockets emptied for the tie couldn’t be more wrong.
Liverpool have also put their tickets on sale for the first leg of the tie at Anfield, with a significant discount on a batch of tickets.
The Reds have made 500 tickets available for just £9 to local supporters who are wanting to attend the huge Champions League tie.
Those tickets will be based on the top tier of the main stand, so supporters can also look forward to a stellar view of the action as Klopp’s side look to earn a spot at this year’s showpiece event at the Stade de France in Paris.
The Champions League final was originally planned to take place at the Gazprom Arena in Saint Petersburg but UEFA moved the match following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
The winner of the two-legged affair between Liverpool and Villarreal will face either Manchester City or Paris Saint-Germain in the showdown.
