GTB Surges 7.6% Ahead of Q2 Earnings

Guaranty Trust Bank (GTB), Nigeria’s largest lender by market capitalization surged by 7.6 percent on Monday, ahead of second quarter (Q2), 2020 results due in 2 weeks.

The stock closed trading at N23.30 per share, for a market capitalization of N685 billion.
GTB stock has lost -5.88 percent in the past year.

Investors will be looking to see how the bank rewards shareholders this year, as it issued an interim dividend of 0.30k per share in 2019.

GTB currently trades at a dividend yield of 12.7 percent.
