Stanbic IBTC has unveiled an Enhanced Short-Term Fixed Income Fund which aims to provide competitive yield, liquidity and safety.
The fund will have a combination of various investments in short to medium term securities issued by Federal and State Governments, as well as Corporate entities with minimum credit ratings of “BBB” issued by at least one recognized local rating agency registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
Highlights of the Fund
- Stanbic IBTC Enhanced Short-Term Fixed Income (SEFI) was launched in February 2021
- The Fund invests a 100% of its portfolio in fixed income instruments (such as Treasury Bills, Commercial Papers, Fixed Deposits, Short Term Debt Instruments e.t.c.)
- 90 days minimum holding period
- The penalty for redeeming within the minimum holding period is 20% on the accrued income
- The minimum investment amount is N5,000.00
- The fund is an open-ended unit trust scheme
- The risk profile for the fund is “Conservative”
- The Management Fee is 1.25%
