United Capital Group Executive Director Purchases 2m New Shares

The Group Executive Director of United Capital Plc, Sunny Anene has just purchased 2 million new shares of United Capital, at an average price of N6.2 per share, according to a filing on the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE).

The date of transaction was February 24th and the shares were bought for a total consideration of N12.4 million.

United Capital net income spiked by 57.14 percent to N7.81 billion as at December 2020 as against N4.91 billion as at December 2019.

The investment bank also announced a plan to pay dividends of N.70 per share for the 2020 financial year meaning that Anene will earn N1.4 million on his N12.4 million investment immediately, equivalent to a yield of 11.29 percent.
