Kaduna Deputy Gov., Uba Sani, Other Personalities Bag LEAA 2022 Awards

The Deputy Governor of Kaduna state, Dr. Hadiza Balarabe Sabuwa, has bagged the League of Extraordinary Achievers’ Award as the ‘Lifetime Achiever for the year 2022.

This is just as the Senator representing Kaduna Central at the Upper Chamber of the National Assembly, Sen. Uba Sani was awarded as the Legislator of the year, while the Senatorial Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the Kaduna Central, Muhammad Sani Abdullahi won the emerging politician of the year award.

Meanwhile, Goddy Nnadi, Otumishe George, Aysha Sani Yaron, Joachim Olowu Daudu and KADCHMA were awarded as the Man of the year, Woman of the year, Entrepreneur of the year, Merchant of the year and institution of the year respectively.

Amongst the awardees for the LEAA 2022 year include the Mayegun of Yoruba community, Kano state, Akinsanya John, who won the Charity and Peace award; male category in Kaduna at the weekend.

Others on the list of awardees are: Ernest Essien, Mashood Kayode Yusuf, Mathew Oluwaseyi Moses, Abimbola Talabi, Aliyu Garba, Oludare Jamiu Odele, Aysha Ahmad Mohammed, Umar Sodiq, among other personalities.

In her remarks, the Deputy Governor of Kaduna state applauded the organiser for recognising her contributions to the development and growth of Kaduna state.

The LEAA emerging politician of the year, Abdullahi popularly known as Dattijo however, hailed the courage of the organiser for the careful selection of the awardees.

Speaking on his political ambition, he reiterated his commitment and resoluteness to provide quality representation if elected as a lawmaker to represent the good people of Kaduna Central at the upper chamber of the National Assembly.

Dattijo who promised to ensure that the people of Kaduna Central will be adequately represented further explained that if elected he will promote and sponsor people’s oriented bills that will not only benefit the people of the state, but the nation at large.

According to the organiser of the event, Adeyemi Adekunle, however, disclosed that the aim of the event was to recognise bravery, magnanimity, benevolence and any other act of kindness and good gestures.

“The award night is a chance for reflection and to also appreciate those who have contributed to the growth of humanity in their various capacities,” Adekunle explained.

Adekunle who is the Chief Executive Officer; Gaze Production added that the awardees were carefully selected across the country for the LEAA 2022 awards.
