Peoples Democratic Party Presidential aspirant, Governor Aminu Tambuwal of Sokoto State has stepped down for former Vice President Atiku.
The Governor of Sokoto State and former Speaker of the House of Representative, Tambuwal made the announcement some minutes ago.
He said he was doing so out of patriotism and urged his supporters to vote for former Vice President Atiku Abubakar.
The PDP presidential primaries is currently under way in Abuja.
