Otedola-Linked Amperion Offloads 4.29 Million Shares of Geregu Power via Cross Deal

Amperion Power Distribution Company Limited, a firm owned by Mr. Femi Otedola, the majority shareholder of Geregu Power offloaded 4.296 million shares in Geregu Power Plc, via a cross deal stock sale.

The total of 4,296,610 shares of Geregu were sold by Amperion at price of N1,027.4 per share on November 11, 202 for a total consideration of N4.4 billion.

Mr Otedola owned 76.38 percent of Geregu Power or 1.909 billion shares as at September 2025.

The shares Otedola controls were worth N2.179 trillion ($1.45 billion) as at Friday November 21, 2025, as Geregu Power closed trading at N1,141.50 per share.

Geregu Power a Nigerian electricity generating firm reported after-tax profit of N25 billion for the 9-Months period to September 2025, up 3.75% compared to the September 2024 period.
