A popular Nigerian singer, Akinbiyi Ahmed better known as Bella Shmurda was allegedly assaulted by suspected cult members while performing at the Lagos State University (LASU).
It was learnt that Bella Shmurda was performing at the homecoming concert organised by dancer Pocolee at the Ojo campus of the university when he was attacked.
Another singer, ‘Declan Rice’ rapper, Odumodublvck, was reportedly driven out of the event venue by the alleged cultists.
In a video shared on social media by Minister of the Crown for Unnecessary Vawlence (@kingandlegendd), Bella Shmurda who seemed to have a swollen face, is seen being escorted out of the venue.
Bella who was a student of LASU but dropped out after he started his music career, was greeted with hostility at the event on Thursday, July 13.
The reason for the alleged assault hasn’t been made known yet. It was learnt that some armed people suspected to be cult members attacked people in the VIP section, which included the singers.
