Super Falcons defender, Michelle Alozie has responded to rumours that she prefers women over men after a post on social media got Nigerians talking about her sexuality.
Alozie posted a photo with a female friend on her Instagram story which sparked rumours of her being gay.
However, the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup star has stated she is straight and prefers men over women, as she opens up on her sexuality.
“I like guys. lol. relax,” she earlier wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.
The US-based footballer was surprised by the reaction of fans following the photo she posted and feels there are other important things to talk about.
The 26-year-old, who plays for Houston Dash, shot to prominence following her outstanding performances at the World Cup in New Zealand and Australia.
