GTB Maintains N0.30 Interim Dividend Level as Profit Slides 5%

Guaranty Trust Bank (GTB) will pay an interim dividend of N0.30 per share the same level as it did last year even as Half year profits fell by 5 percent.

GTB reported its long awaited results after the bell, showing profit after tax of N94.2 billion, down from N99.1 billion in H1, 2019.

Loan impairment charges surged threefold to N6.76 billion from N2.1 billion in 2019.

The Register of Ordinary Shareholders will be closed for the payment of dividends on Wednesday, September 16, 2020, while the Register of Global Depository Receipts (GDR)  equivalent to 5.6 percent of shareholders will be closed on September 4, 2020.
