Here are Documentation Needed for Education and Medical Form A Payments for Forex

These are the checklist for education and medicals Form A payments, initiated via the Trade Management System (TRMS) portalĀ www.tradesystem.gov.ng/login

Applicants should ensure that their Naira account is fully funded with the equivalent of the foreign exchange (Forex) value for the application upon logging the request to avoid cancellation.

Checklist for education tuition fees to school and accommodation

Undergraduate:

  • Evidence of admission to course program.
  • School bill for the period (if payment is for tuition).
  • Copy of studentā€™s Nigerian passport data page.
  • Accommodation invoice (if payment is for accommodation).
  • Account adequately funded and active.

Postgraduate:

  • Evidence of admission to course program.
  • School bill for the period (if payment is for tuition).
  • Copy of studentā€™s Nigerian passport data page.
  • Copy of 1st degree certificate.
  • Accommodation invoiceĀ (if payment is for accommodation).
  • Account adequately funded and active.

ChecklistĀ forĀ educationĀ maintenance or living expense (cap isĀ USD3,000 perĀ quarter)

  • Evidence of admission to course program.
  • Evidence of living expense advise from the school.
  • Copy of studentā€™s Nigerian passport data page.
  • Copy of 1st degree certificate (for postgraduate students).
  • Account adequately funded and active.

ChecklistĀ forĀ educationĀ accommodation payment to landlord (cap isĀ USD3000)

  • Evidence of admission to course program.
  • Lease invoice.
  • Lease agreement executed by landlord and Student.
  • Copy of studentā€™s Nigerian passport data page.
  • Copy of 1st degree certificate (for postgraduate students).
  • Account adequately funded and active.

ChecklistĀ forĀ medical

  • AĀ letter of reference fromĀ aĀ specialist doctor, orĀ aĀ specialist hospital, in Nigeria.
  • Travel documents including valid international passport, visa, and air ticket.
  • Letter issued by the overseas specialist doctor stating the cost of treatment and maintenance.
  • Payment of the medical fees shall be remitted directly to the overseas hospital while the maintenance cost shall be in favour of the patient.

Note:

  • Where a session invoice is attached, CBN intervention funds worth $15,000.00 only or it’s equivalent in other currencies will be allocated if the school fees is more than $15,000.00. Where a semester invoice more than $30,000.00 is attached, CBN intervention funds worth $30,000.00 only will be allocated upon foreign exchange availability.
  • If the account to debit does not belong to the transaction owner, a document to show the relationship with the paying client should be attached.
  • Where the remittance is done via a third-party receiving agent (for example Flywire, Western Union), a remittance instruction that allows the agent receive the payment on behalf of the school should be attached.
  • Evidence of change of name to be attached where necessary.

  1. For those of us e.g Seafarers that are going for oversea courses (not degree or PG), how can we apply for the school fees?? Because, personally, I’ll be going to Egypt for renewal of my license and I want to pay the fees into the school account.
