Pension Assets Hit N16.76trn in June as FGN Bonds, Equities Rise

Nigerian pension fund assets surged to N16.761 trillion in June as assets under management (AuM) invested in FGN Securities and equities rose.

Assets invested in domestic ordinary shares increased by 13% to N1.22 trillion in June, while FGN Securities increased 4% to N10.85 trillion.

The total retirement savings accounts (RSA) registrations rose marginally to 10.009 million in June 2023 from 9.99 million in May, according to PENCOM data.
