Benue APC Guber Aspirant Seek Constituents Support For 2023

Governorship aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, Architect Bernard Yisa has called on Jechira intermediate area to support him to lead Benue state in the 2023 general election.

Briefing stakeholders at the constituency headquarters in Vandeikya, the guber hopeful said, he came to seek their consent and blessing to proceed with his governorship aspiration.

“I humbly request your support to enable me actualize my governorship aspiration. I stand to publicly declare my interest to occupy the seat of the governor on behalf of our collective interest”.

“I offer to accept the mandate of trust to manage our destiny and bequeath greater legacies for the next generation”.

According to him, he was sufficiently equipped with noble character in learning, morality and adequate mental preparation to surmount prevailing and emerging challenges if given the mandate.

Speaking at the occssion, Elder Orsar Labe said after due consultation with some APC stalwarts in Vandeikya and Konshisha local government areas, they came to a conclusion that Architect Yisa possed the quality and would be supported to enable him actualize his dream of governing Benue in 2023.

On his part, Mr Mseer Gyegwe, assured the aspirant that they were solidly behind him to enable him pick the party’s ticket because of his humane disposition, while former Chairman of Konshisha local government, Mr Tyokula Shangbum and Mrs Mwuese Akpera, expressed confidence in the ability of Yisa to deliver if given the mandate.

Another political leader in the area, Dr Joe Asan advised aspirants from Jechira intermediate area that they needed absolute cooperation amongst them in order to surmount all the obstacles for Jechira to produce the next governor of the state.

Meanwhile, Chief Orsugh Imande, said that they would support all Jechira people who were in the race on the platform of APC, encouraging more people to join the gubernatorial race, stressing that the more the merrier.

Earlier, the Director-General of Yisa Campaign Organisation, Mr Fidelis Audu, said that Yisa was a very good governorship material that if Benue people settle for him they would not regret.
