The Nasarawa State Governor, Abdulahi Sule, has come under criticism from the opposition Ewuga Campaign Organization over the distribution of Cars and motorcycles to his campaign Coordinators.

The criticism came after the governor distributed motorcycles to 147 ward chairmen and 147 ward coordinators of the All Progressive Congress, APC’s campaign team at the Local Government level.

The governor also presented vehicles to each of the Local Government Campaign Coordinators in the 13 Local Government Areas of the state, as well as the 13 APC Local Government chairmen of the state and the zonal coordinators of the campaign.

But the Engr. Joseph Ewuga gubernatorial campaign director general described the car presentation as a waste of resources and an attempt to hoodwink the people of the state.

The director general of the LP flag bearer Bishop Matthew, in a statement made available to MoneyCentral said the governor was desperate to placate the people of the state. He alleged that the vehicles were purchased for Gov. Sule’s personal campaign using state resources.

He said the governor should have channeled the cars to the motor park he commissioned without vehicles if he had the people of Nasarawa at heart, instead of using the state resources for personal use.

The DG wondered why the motorcycles were not given to okada riders in the state as a way of empowering them. He also wondered why the governor of a state without a transport company is busy distributing vehicles for his personal gains instead of the gains of the generality of the state.
