Following the efforts of the Kwara state Governor, AbdulRasaq AbdulRahman towards making the state a comfort zone for trade, a northern group under the auspices of Arewa Solidarity Group (ASG), has applauded the Governor.
The group said that the Governor has pushed the state to take trades that fit the system of the state through execution of people’s oriented projects across the state.
This is just as the leader of the group, Isa Ahmed, also explained that taking it slow with renewed focus has been the method of AbdulRasaq led administration to overcome trader’s block.
This was contained in a statement to mark the nation’s 62 independence day which was made available to newsmen in Kaduna on Monday.
In the statement, the group stated that Nigeria at 62 is not stagnant, despite some challenges, adding that Nigerians should not be hopeless.
While congratulating the Kwara state Governor on the nation’s independence day, the leader of the group noted that in the last few years in the state, successes are being made in the economy and infrastructural development in the state.
“It is no longer news that Kwara state has improved economically, which has exposed the state to international trade and made it a comfort zone for trade,” the group noted.
The group however, urged the Governor of Kwara state not to relent in his efforts towards correcting the wrong of the past administrations and take the state to an enviable position.
The group therefore called on Kwarans to continue supporting the Governor in his efforts towards providing good governance to the people.
