Imburu Village Head Dies, Adamawa Deputy Governor Leads Delegation For Condolence

The Adamawa State Deputy Governor, Professor Kaletapwa Farauta has led a top government delegation to condole the family of the deceased village head of Imburu, Samuel Madou.

Madou died in the early hours of Thursday at his home town, Imburu, in Numan local government area of Adamawa State. Farauta, addressing the bereaved family, said, “We are here because the death is not just to the Imburu community but all the people of Adamawa State.

“We pray that God will raise someone in his place that can bring peace not only to Imburu, not just Numan LGA, but the entire Adamawa State.”

She urged the people of the area to ensure that peace prevails during traditional rites of the burial of the late village head.

Mr Imialeyo Ronald Bulus who received the delegation on behalf of the bereaved family, appreciated the government officials for identifying with them during their moment of grief.

Late Madou was the village head of the Imburu community for over 27 years and he died at age 76.
