. . . Pass Vote Of Confidence On Institution

Patients currently receiving Medical attention at the National Eye Centre Kaduna have passed vote of Confidence on the services of National Eye Centre situated in Kaduna.
This, according to the patients followed the provision of quality services by the Centre.
Many of the patients interviewed by our reporter debunked any form of delay in the Centre’s services or know-man factor before a patient can be get treated.
One of the interviewed persons, Ibrahim Idris whose younger brother, Mohammed Idris was brought to the Centre for the first time explained: ” My family and I have heard a lot about National Eye Centre, that you must no a staff before someone can be attended to.”
Contrary to the negative thought, he said: “I was amazed with the operational system of the Centre. I came here as early as 6:30am and met about 42 people ahead of me but by 7:53 it got to my turn and am happy with the level of professionalism exhibited by the staff.
Another patient at the Centre, Mr.Ezema Christian, who is a first timer residing in Television also lauded the Centre for its services at affordable rate.
Ezema said ” My fear at the beginning was the fee, because last week I was in one hospital within Kaduna town and consultation fee alone wasN10,000 plus card. N18,000 was also paid, yet I didn’t get result but here in Eye Centre I paid N4000 naira only for the services. I think this is better.
Speaking at Glaucoma and Cattarract unit, Aminu Bello and two others commended the Centre for maintaing a moderate cost of operation for Nigerians.
The trio however urged Eye Centre management to open up Units in other States and geo Political zones to reduce the stress of travelling from distant place to Kaduna for health care.
Investigations revealed that Eye Centre is prefered by most patients due to effective service delivery and low cost of consultation and drugs.
Meanwhile, public and private hospitals in Nigeria have increase cost of consultation to almost 300 per cent whereas Eye centre Kaduna had slight increase of 33 per cent.
