PDP Convention: Benue Frontline PDP Guber Aspirant, Joe Ikyaagba Eulogises Ayu, Others

A frontline 2023 governorship aspirant in Benue State, has heartily congratulated Senator Dr Iyorchia Ayu on his emergence as the new National Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP at the just concluded Special Elective National Convention of the party in Abuja.

He also extended warm congratulations to all National officials- elect of the party, on their various victories and commends the Convention Planning Committee Chairman and the Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for organising a peaceful and credible National Convention.

Architect Ikyaagba who is a guber hopeful on the platform of PDP, describes Dr Ayu as a seasoned and well respected politician, who commands enormous national goodwill to steer the affairs of the party in the right direction to reposition and strengthen its unity ahead of the 2023 polls.

In a statement he personally signed and emailed to MoneyCentral correspondent in Lafia, Ikyaagba, expressed confidence in the political clout and sagacity of the former President of the Senate, who he says is capable of leading the party to victory in the forthcoming general elections in the country.

Architect Ikyaagba who recently decamped to PDP with thousands of his supporters, commends the Northern stakeholders of the party for the consensus choice of Dr Ayu as National Chairman.

He also acknowledges the party’s North Central Leader, Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State and other critical stakeholders for the various roles, they played towards the victorious emergence of Dr Ayu, whom he states has the vast experience and political maturity to accommodate and protect the interest of all members within the party’s ranks and structures across the country.

The PDP guber hopeful wished Dr Ayu and his National Working Committee members a successful tenure and pledges his unalloyed loyalty to the party.
