The developmental strides of the Kwara state Governor, AbdulRahaman AbdulRasaq in the last few years were said to be responsible for his popularity in the state.
A group under the auspices of Arewa Solidarity Group ( ASG) disclosed this in a statement made available to Money Central on Thursday.
In the statement titled: “Why Gov. AbdulRahaman AbdulRasaq Enjoys Massive Support of Kwaran”. The leader of the group, Isa Ahmed explained that the political clouts of Gov. AbdulRasaq in Kwara state followed the Governor’s developmental strides.
Ahmed said, the Governor has attended to the demand of the office since May 29, 2019 with total zeal, dedication and commitment through people’s oriented policies.
” The AbdulRasaq led Government has strategically taken governance to the people such that there is no electoral Ward in the state that cannot point to one or two things that they have benefited in just less than four years of his administration,” the group explained.
Ahmed who described AbdulRasaq as a focused and committed leader, said in less than four years on the saddle, has changed the narrative of governance in the state.
According to the leader of the group, the Governor has delivered the dividend of democracy, given purposeful leadership to the state and written his name on the hearts of Kwarans with indelible ink.
