Buhari Honours Amusan, Brume, Other Athletes With N200m

The President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), on Thursday, honoured Tobi Amusan and other Nigerian medalists at various international games, including the Commonwealth Games, for their outstanding performances.

Those honoured at the event include Amusan, among other athletes who were gifted N200 million by the President.

An award of recognition was also presented to Amusan by Buhari during a reception for the Nigeria 2022 Commonwealth Contingent in State House, Abuja, on Thursday.

The team members were also awarded National Honours.
