Mrs. Rebecca Sharibu, The mother of Leah Sharibu kidnapped by the outlaws Boko Haram insurgents on February 19, 2018 has declined knowledge of her daughter giving birth to another baby.
The report was widely circulated at the early hours of today that Leah has delivered a second child while in the captivity of Boko Haram.
Speaking with Mrs. Sharibu,she tearfully said: “me I don’t know o, I am not aware, no one has gotten to me, I have no idea of anything like that.”
When asked if she had lost hope on the return of Leah, madam Rebecca allayed the fear, hinging it on divine intervention.
Responding to the likelihood of not setting her eyes on her daughter again, she said: “no, I will not lose hope, I still have the divine hope of seeing my Leah again, by the grace of God.”
It would be recalled that Leah was kidnapped February 19, 2018 at the age of 14 alongside 110 other girls.They where all seized from government girls science and technical college Dapchi Bulabulin Yunusari Yobe State by the Boko Haram insurgents
