A trending video has shown how a yet-to-be-identified Nigerian lady stabbed her housemate, another Nigerian, in what seems to be a house fight in Dubai.

According to the video shared by obafph01, an X user, on Tuesday, the two ladies were first involved in a physical scuffle over a knife wrapped in a piece of black cloth.

In the process, one of the ladies, whose hair was dyed red, sliced the other’s forearm in a swift. The video showed the red-hair lady standing back to assess the damage before charging at two other housemates who appeared at the scene.

The victim, now with a bloodied forearm, was heard in the background saying, “See wetin this girl do me (See what this girl did to me). I go call police today.”

“Sheybi na you con touch me,” the lady holding the knife responded.

Some other witnesses who didn’t appear on the screen repeatedly shouted ‘Jesus’ while the victim urged them to call the police.

Another witness said “Come and tie your hand first; come tie your hand” while blood continued to splitter on the floor.

The call for calm did nothing as the victim continued to bleed profusely. The video showed the suspect asking to be given her phone so she could call the police.

Give me my phone make I call the police,” she said.

Amid the confusion, the victim took a seat while still holding the sliced hand with no first aid attempt to stop the bleeding.

Another seven seconds of the video showed the victim lying unconscious in her own pool of blood spread across the apartment.

While further details are yet to emerge about the identities of the ladies and what led to the argument, some X users have said that the victim survived the stabbing incident and that the ladies were reluctant to call the police because of their migration status.

Ugwunna Ejikem said, “Apparently those girls were illegal residents in Dubai. That would explain why they were worried about the police and their reluctance to suggest a hospital.”
