Recently, men of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) raided the home of fast-rising singer Akintunde Abiodun Timileyin aka TI Blaze.

The NDLEA’s spokesperson, Femi Babafemi, told the Cable that two of his staff were arrested and 2.7 kg of cannabis loud, 5.2 gms of methamphetamine, and 13 tablets of molly were recovered.

TI blaze had raised alarm on social media that men of the NDLEA broke into his Lagos apartment in the early hours of Sunday morning and arrested his manager and road manager.

The singer further shared a video of his apartment in disarray while calling out to Nigerians to pray for his team.

The singer whose career witnessed a boost after Olamide jumped on his ‘Sometimes’ (Canadian Loud) Remix, claimed that the reason for the arrest was due to his popular ‘Canadian Loud’ track.

“NDLEA just bumped into my apartment 1 am this morning and scattered everywhere.

“They say I sang about Canadian loud. They have also arrested my manager and road manager.

“They took them away in their Hilux. Please say a prayer for me and my team,” he wrote.

Hours later, he took to his Instagram story to say that although the last few hours had been tragic, they showed him how much he is loved.

T.I Blaze added that he is fine and back home.

“The last few hours have been tragic for me but it has also shown me how much people really love me and my team. I’m fine now and back home.

“Thanks to everyone that reached out to me and the blogs as well for the support; I love you all. It was a different feeling entirely.”
