Deputy Governor of Benue State, Dr. Sam Ode has commended the vision and enterprise of Emmanuel Idoko, a consultant pharmacist and owner of Vincal Pharmaceutical Industry for establishing the first indigenous drug manufacturing company in Benue State.
Barr. Sam Ode gave this commendation on Wednesday, when he received the management staff of Vincal pharmaceutical company in his office at Government House, Makurdi.
“This is the kind of thing we want to see from both indigenes and non indigenes in the state. I’m glad to hear that this indigenous drug manufacturing company has 100 employees on her payroll”.
The Deputy Governor further stated that the administration of Governor Revd. Fr. Hyacinth Alia is poised to create enabling environment for manufacturing companies and businesses to flourish in the state, adding that government is willing to partner with such lucrative ventures to help close unemployment gap in the state.
Earlier, Mr. Idoko said he was in the office of the Deputy Governor of Benue State to introduce and present some of the pharmaceutical products manufactured by his company which is located at Welfare Quarters Extension in Makurdi.
He assured that all their drugs which include Vincacid, Vincal B. Complex syrup, Vincal pcm, amongst others are duly certified by NAFDAC.
Emmanuel Idoko was accompanied on the visit by his wife, Mrs. Gift Idoko and Hon. Godwin Idoko, former Special Adviser on Water Resources and Environment in the state.
