The Nasarawa State Labour Party governorship candidate in the 2023 election, Joseph Ewuga has charged the new governor of Abia state, Dr. Alex Otti to hit the ground running especially in critical sectors to turn around the fortunes of the State.
Ewuga gave the charge in a message in Lafia while congratulating the governor on his swearing in.
He enjoined him to put the right peg in the right hole for efficiency and effectiveness adding that as the only labour party governor all eyes where on him with high expectations to succeed.
The labour party leader in Nasarawa State requested quick action in the areas of economy, security and other critical sectors and to tackle various challenges confronting the state.
Ewuga advised governor Otti to take Workers’ welfare with more vibrant interest, since they are the engine room of the success of any government.
According to him “infrastructural development and innovation should be prioritized in all the nooks and crannies of Abia State.
He also noted that State appointments should be spread across the three Senatorial Districts of the State to ensure justice, fairness and equity.
Ewuga stressed the need to accord Traditional institutions the importance and respect since they are there to preserve the tradition and customs of the people.
Ewuga advised the people of Abia to support the present administration to succeed in the task ahead.
