Nasarawa LP Candidate, Ewuga Decries Late Arrival Of Electoral Materials

The governorship candidate of Labour Party in Nasarawa state Comr Joseph Ewuga has casted his vote in the Presidential and National Assembly Elections at Kofan Sarki polling unit Kagbu in Nasarawa Eggon local government area of the state.

Ewuga in company of his wife Glory Ewuga Ejima voted at exactly 4:10pm after accreditation by the electoral officials.

Speaking to newsmen shortly after voting, Ewuga decried the late arrival of materials.

He called on more people to come out and cast their votes, without any fear of intimidation.

”As you can see here at my unit, in Kofan Sarki, materials arrived late. We were waiting here from 8am and I have just voted.

“From the report we are getting across the state so far the election has been peaceful.

He therefor called on INEC to improve on the process in subsequent elections in other to gain the trust of of Nigerians.

He explained that the BVAS so far is working perfectly well and the people have conducted themselves in a peaceful manner.

Ewuga appealed to INEC to create more awareness for people to check thier names at the newly created polling units.

Security agencies such as police, Nigeria Immigration Service and Nigeria Security and Civil Defence, Officials were present at the polling units to ensure security and check vote buying.
