No Substance to Petition Seeking to Disqualify Shettima Based on Alleged Double Nomination – PEPT

The Presidential Election Petitions Tribunal (PEPT) has ruled that seeking to disqualify a candidate based on alleged double nomination is not valid as held by the Nigerian constitution.

There is allegation brought by the APM that the Vice President Kashim Shettima is not qualified based on double nomination as a Senator in Borno Central.

The PEPT ruled that the matter had already been settled by the Supreme Court.
