NGX Suspends Trading in Shares of Zichis Agro Allied Citing Need to Protect Investors

The Nigeria Exchange Group (NGX) has suspended trading in the shares of newly listed Zichis Agro-Allied Industries Plc with effect from Monday, 23 February 2026.

The suspension is based on Rule 7.0 of the Exchange’s Rulebook, which gives the Exchange the authority to halt trading in a listed security when needed to protect investors and comply with SEC Rules.

Trading in the Company’s shares will remain suspended pending the conclusion of an investigation into the  trading activities on the stock.

Zichis shares are up 772% year-to date. Zichis profit rose 299% for the 9-months period that ended September 2025, to N166.5 million.
