Dangote Cement Plc added Goldman Sachs Group Inc. and UBS Group AG as bookrunners for a London listing that it’s preparing as soon as November, according to people familiar with the matter.

The plan is to raise about $1 billion through a secondary share sale on the London Stock Exchange, said the people who asked not to be identified because the information is private.

Current owners will sell about 10% of the business, which is majority-owned by Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote

Dangote Cement is the largest producer of the building material in Nigeria with installed capacity of 55 million metric tons per year across 11 Africa countries.

The cement maker’s shares have gained 75.16 percent since the start of the year, which strengths investors’ confidence about the company’s future growth prospects. It has a market capitalisation of N18 trillion or $13.4 billion.

The company achieved adjusted earnings before interest taxation depreciation and amortization (EBTIDA) margin of 47.23 percent in the first six months of 2026, which is higher than 2025’s 45.60 percent.

EBITDA increased by 21.40 percent to N1.18 trillion in June 2026 from N944.90 billion as at June 2025.
