AXA Mansard Insurance Plc has rolled out monthly car Insurance payment plans for vehicle owners in Nigeria.
AXA Mansard said the option called Pay Monthly, is a flexible payment plan that allows customers to spread their motor insurance payments over 10 months while still enjoying the full benefits of Comprehensive Motor Insurance.
Nigerians usually pay for car insurance annually.
The Pay Monthly Option lets customers:
- get full-year coverage and pay at their pace.
- enjoy benefits like accident cover, medical expenses, towing, and fire damage protection.
- insure one or more vehicles.

- Enter your vehicle details.
- Select “Pay Monthly”.
“Pay Monthly takes away the pressure and financial strain, leaving you with a smart insurance choice. It is available on our website and on MyAXA Plus app,” AXA Mansard said.
AXA Mansard, a composite insurer, was the second largest Nigeria Insurer by Insurance revenue as at the end of 2024. It was number four by total assets as at Half Year 2025, with N234 billion.
The Nigerian Insurance Industry Reform Bill, 2025, signed by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, mandates a substantial increase in minimum capital requirements of insurers, with the minimum for Composite Insurers set at N25.0 billion up 400% from the previous N5.0 billion levels.
