There was pandemonium in Ikere-Ekiti, the second largest town in Ekiti State as dare-devil robbers attacked two commercial banks including Access Bank.
Three persons persons are feared killed already while several others sustained various degrees of gunshots wounds in the almost one hour gun attack.
Among the injured were some operatives of Amotekun corps after the bandits attacked their base in the town before their operation.
The hoodlums who operated from two dimension reportedly carted away unspecified huge sum of money from the two banks.
It was also learnt that social and business activities in the town were paralysed for several hours as human and vehicular movements stopped while the robbery was going on.
The residents said the robbers used dynamite to blow open the entrance of the banks and cart away unspecified amounts of money.
