Peter Obi supporters popularly known as ‘Obidients’ are wondering if elections are over and 2027 the year for the next election, is still far away, why is Reno Omokri twitting like we are in the period of the campaign?

His tweet on Thursday accusing the Labour Party presidential candidate in the 2023 elections, Mr Peter Obi of using fraud to boost Anambra state ranking as the number one state in education when he was governor of the state, has put people, especially the Obidients’ pens to work.

They also dug out Omokri’s past videos where he praised Obi as the best presidential material in Nigeria. His criticisms of President Tinubu before and how he has turned around as his defender are also circulating. That, for them, serves as an indication of Reno’s inconsistencies when it comes to political matters.

But it’s not clear what Obi has done to this dude that is attracting all these heavy criticisms and campaigns against him in recent times. Some of Obi’s supporters are even wondering whether the guy was paid to keep dragging their principal online. Here are a few reactions to his post by Obidients on X.

John Nonso wrote, “He (Obi) has already ignored Reno for a long time. He should just continue to ignore the mkpi (he goat). I can never delete an old video where Reno was praising Obi like his god.”

Alex Jude wrote, “Reno talks and forgets; give him food he will sing your praises.”

Ben DeCoque wrote, “He built more than schools. He took Anambra from 26th position to the 1st position. Peter Obi is an achiever.”

Johnson Emmanuel wrote, “No need to reply Reno. He is like that other politician described by Amaechi. ‘He can even sell his mother for money’. We know what’s happening and why he has recently decided to take this part.”

“He should not bother himself with Reno the mumu man,” Emoglad Mudi added.
