Ecobank Transnational Corporation “Ecobank” Plc has remained resilient even amid a tough operating and regulatory environment as the Pan Africa lender recorded earning growth.

The 2025 audited financial statement showed Ecobank posted profit after tax (PAT) of N904.71 billion, which is 23.18 percent higher than 2014’s N735.89 billion as at December.

Gross earnings were up 16.19 percent to N4.88 trillion as at December 2025 from N4.20 trillion as at December 2024.

Investors who are impressed with the Bank’s financial performance await a bumper dividend as they expect returns on their investment.

Of course, Ecobank faces challenges on many fronts such as inflationary pressures, foreign exchange volatility, and higher energy costs.
