Tinubu Wanted to be my Running Mate in 2007 – Atiku

Former Vice President Atiku Abubaker and PDP presidential candidate has said that Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the APC wanted to be his running mate under the ACN in 2007. 

“My fundamental disagreement with Tinubu is on Muslim-Muslim ticket,” Atiku said today during an interview on Arise TV.

“He wanted to be my running mate in 2007.”

Atiku also said he opposed Tinubu’s Muslim-Muslim ticket bid to be President Muhammadu Buhari’s running mate in 2015.

“There should be balance and equity,” said Atiku.
