By Abdulwaheed Olayinka Adubi, Kaduna

Following the approval of a new diagnostic center, which construction will soon begin in Ilorin, the state capital, a northern group under the aegis of Arewa Solidarity Group (ASG), has lauded the Federal Government for the initiative.

The group who equally congratulated the Governor of the state, AbdulRahman AbdulRasaq on the achievement, noted that the approval of the medical centre came due to the excellent performances of the Governor.

According to the group in a statement released on Tuesday explained that the state and the capital city; Ilorin, is wearing new looks following the government’s delivery of new roads and execution of many giant projects in the state.

In the statement signed by the leader of the group, Isa Ahmed, commended the traditional institution in the state for their support to the AbdulRasaq’s administration, adding that the Governor can only do better in the delivering of good governance to the people of the state with the support of all and sundry.

The group therefore urged the people of the state to ensure that Governor AbdulRasaq continues beyond 2023 as the number one citizen of the state.

The group who also felicitated the Christians in the state on the celebration of Christmas added “Merry Christmas to Kwarans. May the festive season fill your life with happiness, love and cheers. May your smile shine like the vibrant colours of Christmas ornaments.”

The group however, commended the Governor and his team for keeping the flag flying, urging the Governor not to relent in his resolve to make the capital city the number one positive reference point in Nigeria.
