Gov. AbdulRazaq’s Quest To Make Kwara Hub For Garment Production Laudable, Says Group

Socioeconomic group under the aegies of the Arewa Solidarity Group (ASG), has applauded the Kwara state Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq over his move to make the state a hub for garment production.

The group explained that if the garment factory is inaugurated, it will open up the state to economic opportunities and growth.

The group stated this in a statement signed by its leader, Isa Ahmed, and made available to newsmen in Kaduna on Tuesday morning, where he further explained that the garment factory will employ 2,000 workers directly.

In the statement, the group also explained that the AbdulRazaq’s led administration has completed several projects and implemented many programmes with great impact across the state.

The leader of the group added that the bond the administration took is being spent judiciously and channeled torwards people’s oriented projects in the state.

” In the last few years of this administration, it is obvious that the resources of the state were being managed the way it ought to be. In the past, the story was different, but today, the narative has changed for better,” the statement noted.

The group said, the administration has made huge impact in the lives of the residents in various sectors, including health, water, social safety nets, support for businesses, education, gender inclusion, youth empowerment and rural urban development.
