The accountant general of Nasarawa state Rt. Hon Dr. Ahmed Musa Mohammed has extended his heartfelt congratulations to Muslims as they embark on the sacred journey of Ramadan, marking the onset of fasting for the year.

In a statement sent to journalists Muhammed underscores the profound significance of Ramadan within the Muslim community, urging all to express gratitude to the Almighty for the opportunity to observe this holy month.

Emphasizing the importance of unity and solidarity, the former two team speaker of the Nasarawa state House of Assembly calls upon Muslims to utilize the auspicious period of Ramadan to fervently pray for the success of leaders across all levels of governance, as well as for the collective welfare and prosperity of Nasarawa State and the entire nation, especially in light of the prevailing challenges.

Recognizing the privilege and responsibility of those who are well-off, the AG implores them to extend support to the less fortunate members of society, enabling them to observe the fasting period with ease and dignity.

Extending his warmest wishes to Muslim communities both within Nasarawa State and beyond, Mohammed expressed his hope for a spiritually enriching and fruitful Ramadan in 2024, filled with abundant blessings and grace.

With a firm commitment to upholding the principles and ethics of Ramadan, he urges believers to adhere steadfastly to its guiding values, thereby reaping the rewards of spiritual devotion and introspection.

In a call to action, the Barade Nasarawa urges Islamic scholars to utilize this sacred time to advocate for peace, unity, and social cohesion among their followers, fostering an inclusive society where development can flourish.

Barade appealed to Muslims and all citizens of Nasarawa State to join in prayer and support for Governor Abdullahi Sule, rallying behind him as he endeavors to fulfill his mandate and lead the state towards progress and prosperity.
