Nasarawa State Governor, Engineer Abdullahi Sule has again appealed to stakeholders and other party loyalists to remain non-violent, free from provocative comments as the Court of Appeal adjudicates on the state’s gubernatorial election dispute Thursday.

In a statement issued by the Special Adviser to the Governor Abdullahi Sule on Media and publicity, Dr. Nawani Aboki in Lafia, Wednesday, the governor said he awaits the verdict of the Appeal Court sitting in Abuja as he prepares to embrace the outcome with full confidence for the unity, peace and development of the state.

Engineer Sule called on people of the state to consider the state above their personal interest, saying Nasarawa State will remain united with undying hope in the nation’s judiciary as the last hope of the common man.

He called for continued prayer for victory that is buoyed by the spirit of forgiveness, even in the face of adversity, noting that he remains a symbol of grace and forgiveness.

He however called on the opposition party to tread the path of peaceful co-existence at this time of political tension, maintaining that security operatives have been mobilised to keep peace as trouble makers will be dealt with in line with the law of the land.
