NSCDC Parades 18yrs Man for Molesting 4yrs Old Girl in Nasarawa

The Nasarawa state command of Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps NSCDC have arrested a 18yrs old Ibrahim Hashim for having carnal knowledge of a 4yrs old girl in Lafia the state capital.

This was made available to our correspondent by the spokesperson of the command Jerry Victor, during the parade of the suspect at the Nasarawa State headquarter of the NSCDC.

Commandant of the state Abbas Bappa Muhammed, who decried the incessant cases of child molestation, rape and defilement in the area promised to take stringent majors to Stamp out the menace.

The NSCDC boss said that the attention of the mother was drawn when the victim, name withheld from Angwan Magaji along Emir Palace Lafia, was seen crying profusely with blood stain all over her, when accosted by her mother she narrated what happened.

According to him, the suspect, Ibrahim Hashimu , was arrested and brought to NSCDC office for questioning and has agreed to commuting the heinous crime and pleaded for mercy.

In the same vein, 3 suspects Yakubu Ossan 55yrs m’, Mustapha Ibrahim 24yrs m’ a scrap Dealer and Hussain Yakubu 21yrs an Okada rider, were also arrested by the men of the Anti-Vandal squad in collaboration with the men of the Nasarawa Eggon Division for vandalizing 33 kV high tension cable, in Mada Station, Nasarawa Eggon Local government area of Nasarawa State.

The prime suspect, Yakubu Ossan, diverted the said cables when heavy rain destroyed over 10 poles that were meant to be taken to the house of the District head for safe keeping, in Mada Station.

One Aisha Saidu 22yrs and her brother in-law (still at large) was arrested for Grievous Battery and Assaulting her step children in Lafia. Bruises were seen all over the victims who were rushed to a medical facility for medical attention.

The head of the security agency explained that Investigation is on-going after which the suspects will be charged to a competent court of jurisdiction for prosecution.

The NSCDC Boss, called on the good people of Nasarawa State as well as parents and guidance, to make the movement and whereabouts of their children and wards especially the female gender their topmost priority.

He said members of the public need to be vigilant and be conscious of their environment, they should report any suspicious movement within and around their vicinity to any security agencies closer to them.

He added that Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Nasarawa State Command will not relent in its efforts to get rid of bad elements in the state, as crime and criminality will have no space in the state, he concluded.
