Police Apprehend 6 Suspected Kidnappers in Adamawa

The Adamawa state Police Command has successfully nabbed six suspected kidnappers for allegedly kidnapping a 9-year-old boy after demanding N5 million ransom in Mubi-South Local Government Area of the state.

The suspects identified as Abubakar Mohammed, Auwal Usman, Mohammed Abubakar, Umar Mohammed, Abdulhameed Musa and Muhammad Nasir all residents of Maiha Road and Kaba Ward in Mubi-South/North Local government areas were arrested after they kidnapped 9year old Mustapha Ibrahim.

The command Spokesperson made this known in press statement, SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje noted that the suspects were arrested following the complaint received by the father of the victim on Oct. 19th October, 2023.

SP Nguroje also noted that some unknown faces came to his House around 1800hrs with pretence to buy Zobo Juice and lured the 8-year old boy.

The Commissioner of Police CP Afolabi Babatola While expressing Happiness, Commended DPO Mubi South and His Men for rescuing an innocent Child and denying the Criminals the opportunity of escaping arrest. In the same vain he called on the good people of Adamawa to be vigilant and watchful and to report any suspected movement around their vicinity.
