Akume Meets North Central Speakers

The Secretary to the Government of the Federation Sen. George Akume on Tuesday played host to Speakers of State Houses of Assembly in the North Central Zone of the Country in Abuja.

The SGF while congratulating them for their emergence as Speakers in their various States during the recently concluded elections and inaugurations across the country reminded them on the tasked ahead.

Sen. Akume was quick to emphasized on the need for the Speakers of State Assemblies in the zone and the country at large to synergize with their Governors for peace, unity and speedy development to thrive in their States.

He noted that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has passion for the country’s economy, security and other aspects of the society and is poised to deliver on his mandate and will like to see that translate across states of the federation.

The Speaker, Nasarawa State House of Assembly Rt.Hon. Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi said their visit to the SGF was to congratulate him on his appointment and wish him success been a leader from the region.

Speaker Balarabe Abdullahi assured the SGF of the resolved by Speakers of State Houses of Assembly of the North Central region to partner with their Governors and by extension the judiciary for peace, unity and speedy development to thrive in their various states.

It was reported that those who accompanied the Nasarawa State House of Assembly Speaker Balarabe Abdullahi from the state to joined his colleagues of the North Central Zone were Majority Leader of the House Hon. Muhammed Adamu Omadefu (APC KEANA) and the Minority Leader of the House Hon. Musa Ibrahim Abubakar (NNPP Doma South).
