NUJ Congratulates Lawal Over Appointment As CPS To Kaduna Governor-Elect

Nigeria Union Of Journalists (NUJ), Kaduna State Council, has congratulated the newly appointed Chief Press Secretary, Muhammad Shehu Lawal to the Kaduna state governor-elect, Sen. Uba Sani.

In its expression of satisfaction, the Union stated that Lawal possed the ability and capacity to carry everyone along in the journey of re-branding and reengineering of the new egalitarian Kaduna State under Dr Uba Sani.

This was contained in a statement jointly signed by the Council’s Chairman and Secretary, Comrade Asma’u Yawo Halilu and Gambo Santos, and made available to newsmen in Kadun on Wednesday.

In the statement, the Union however, charged the new media scribe to bring to bear his intellectual prowess, professional ethics and values with a view to giving a sense of belonging to all section of the media operating in kaduna state and the country at large.

The statement further enjoined members of the Union, as well as relevant stakeholders in the media industry to rally round and support the new Press Secretary in the discharge of his duty.

NUJ also prayed for a successful and eventful working relationship with the incoming APC administration in kaduna state for socio-economic and political prosperity among the citizenry.
