World football governing body, FIFA, has announced a new sponsorship agreement with the Australian pay-TV service, Optus for the 2023 Women’s World Cup.
Following this deal, Optus has been named the official supporter of the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023 in Australia & New Zealand.
This relationship builds on Optus’ previous participation as an official broadcaster of the competition through Optus Sport and is an important leap towards its commitment to supporting women’s sports and motivating the next generation.
Optus is strengthening its commitment to promoting women’s sports and establishing itself as one of the main proponents in Australia by increasing its support for the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023. In addition to utilising Optus Sport as the official broadcaster for all 64 games, Optus will now advertise its selection of telecom services in its capacity as an official supporter.
