Gov. Uzodinma Gifts Super Falcons Stars $10,000, Land

Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodinma, held a reception for members of Super Falcons players, Chiamaka Nnadozie, Desire Oparanozie, Tochi Oluehi and Osinachi Ohale in Owerri.

Uzodinma commended them for their performances at the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup and also gifted them with a token of $10,000 and a plot of land in the state capital.

Oparanozie posted pictures of the reception at the state house in Owerri on her Twitter handle.

Also present at the reception was the First Lady of Imo Barrister Chioma Uzodinma and other top officials in the state.

Commenting on the reception, Oparanozie wrote on Twitter:”Special appreciation to his excellency governor Hope Uzodinma, and her excellency Barrister Chioma Uzodinma for the warm reception.

“Your commitment to reward hard work and excellence is a true reflection of the great leader that you are. You have indeed raised the bar.”

On Monday Nigeria’s First Lady Oluremi Tinubu hosted Super Falcons trio of Onome Ebi, Christy Ucheibe and Oluehi.

While the duo of Rasheedat Ajibade and Rofiat Imuran were hosted by Osun governor Ademola Adeleke on Sunday.

The Super Falcons reached the round of 16 at the ongoing FIFA women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.
