Three years to the day after they last played at the Ullevaal Stadion, Manchester United return to Oslo on Saturday to face familiar opposition in La Liga giants Atletico Madrid.
Diego Simeone’s Atletico knocked United out of the Champions League in March, progressing 2-1 on aggregate after a 1-0 win at Old Trafford in the second leg.
The game is the first in a double-bill of matches against Spanish sides for new United manager Erik ten Hag, with Rayo Vallecano visiting Old Trafford on Sunday.
