Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque has revealed that the main roster WWE Superstars receive a minimum of $250,000 per annum as salary.

WWE held trials over WrestleMania weekend in Dallas, with collegiate athletes trying to earn contracts with the wrestling juggernaut.

The Athletic covered the trials, in which the publication also spoke about the pay package that WWE Superstars receive.

The write-up notes that once WWE Superstars arrive on either Monday Night Raw or Friday Night SmackDown, they are paid a minimum of $250,000 per year, as noted by Triple H.

“Levesque [Triple H] said wrestlers on the main roster for “Raw” or “SmackDown” earn at least $250,000 annually.”

Speaking of new WWE signings, the company has massively changed its recruitment strategy over the last few years.

While WWE previously would look to sign the best wrestlers from the independent scene, that isn’t the strategy anymore.

WWE now looks to sign young collegiate athletes, who they will train to work the WWE style at the Performance Center, moulding them in the way that they want.

Of course, some top independent talent will end up signing with the company, but it seems like they’ll be in the minority when it comes to new WWE signings from now on.

One of the latest WWE signings to a NIL contract was Gable Steveson, who officially inked a deal in September of last year.

Steveson was drafted to WWE Raw the following month, and made his first on-screen appearance since that move at WWE WrestleMania 38.

After just appearing on the first night, Steveson got physical the following day, hitting Chad Gable with a suplex.
