The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) has unveiled a new 6-man External Board of Directors which in all intents and purposes is in line with the Federal Character principle of the Federal Government.
The NNPC revealed this yesterday in a tweet on its twitter page.
The Board has membership from each of the six geopolitical zones of Nigeria, a welcome development analysts say, after accusations of marginalization by some regions of Nigeria, against the executive.
Members of the new Board of Directors: (external), include: Engr. Mohammed Lawal (NW), Dr. Tajudeen Umar (NE), Lami Onayi Ahmed (NC), Sen. Magnus Abe (SS), Dr. Stephen Dike (SE), and Chief Pius Akinyelure (SW).
