Thomas Matthew Crooks the gunman who attempted to assassinate former President Donald Trump Saturday, had explosive devices in his car, the Wall Street Journal reports, citing people familiar with the matter.

The car was parked near the Trump rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, the people told the WSJ
Police received multiple reports of suspicious packages near the shooter’s location.
